Social ReUse

Is your device reusable?

In 2019, ECOTREL initiated the Social ReUse project in collaboration with a number of resource centers to promote the reuse of devices.

Citizens can hand over their devices in working order at a “diagnosis point” located in a dedicated area.

What devices can you deposit?

You can hand over your small appliances such as vacuum cleaners, coffee machines, blenders, etc. These are taken back by the social service provider Nei Aarbecht, which prepares them for reuse and resells them at a reduced price in its store located in Helmdange.

You can also bring back your IT devices such as tablets, smartphones and laptops. After having undergone a complete erasure of personal data, these IT devices are reconditioned and then distributed by the social service provider Digital Inclusion ASBL to people who need access to information and communication technologies.
